1. Can I book all types of fares online?

You can book most types of fares on the Cyprus Airways web site, except group fares e.t.c. For these fares, please contact Cyprus Airways Reservations for further information.

2. How can I be sure that I get the lowest possible fares?

Our Booking Engine always searches for the lowest available fares for the destination, travel dates, class of service and the flights that you select

After you initiate a search, if you wish, you can use the Modify option or the right navigation tab to change your dates and flights. We will then search again for the lowest fares.

Before you start your search, here are a few additional low fare tips to consider when planning your next trip:
Make your reservation as early as possible.

Making a reservation as soon as you know your travel dates increases your chances of finding the best priced fare. The number of seats offered at the lowest fares are usually limited and when these seats sell out, the price goes up.


 
3. What do you mean by Unrestricted fares?

Unrestricted Economy fares are fully refundable and do not have advanced purchase requirements. They generally carry a higher fare but allow greater flexibility in changing your travel dates and flights without penalty (subject to availability).

4. What do you mean by Restricted fares?

Restricted Economy class fares offer our lowest rates Economy Class and are subject to limited availability and  substantial restrictions such as instant purchase requirement, , penalties linked to changes, non-refundable status and non-eligibility for infant or child discounts.

5. Do you offer Children Fares?

Yes, we offer some discounts for children between the age of 2-12 years, traveling on Cyprus Airways flights. However they do vary, so check your price quote on cyprusair.com for full details

A child under 2 years of age is classified as an infant .An infant fare is charged at 10% of the adult fare when the infant does not have his/her own seat, but sits on an adult’s lap.



 

6. How can I view the fare rules?

You may click on the 'Fare Rules' during the reservation process. When booking a fare online, you are required to acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted the Fare Rules.

7. What do the following fare conditions mean?
  • Penalties

    Specifies any penalties that are applicable for the fare. Penalties may be incurred in the event of flight cancellations or change of dates of travel.
  • Reservations and/or Ticketing Requirements

    Specifies the applicable booking and/or travel dates for a particular fare.
  • Minimum Stay

    Specifies the minimum number of days that a passenger must spend abroad before returning to the country of origin.
  • Maximum Stay

    Specifies the maximum number of days that a passenger can spend abroad before returning to the country of origin.
  • Stopover

    Specifies whether a stopover is allowed for a particular fare.
  • Constructions and Combinations

    Specifies whether a particular fare may be combined with other fares.
  • Day / Time travel restrictions

    Specifies any day or time travel restrictions pertaining to booking or re-routing an itinerary
  • Seasonal Travel Restrictions

    Specifies any seasonal restrictions pertaining to re-booking or re-routing an itinerary.
  • Blackout Dates

    Specifies any period during which the ticket may not be used.
  • Children and Infant Discounts

    Defines the percentage of the applicable adult fare for children and infants.
  • Additional Rules

    Lists any other rules that the passenger needs to be aware of.

8. Are taxes included in the quoted fares?

The final price of the system following your search is inclusive of all taxes, but excludes Service Fee, which where applicable will be charged additionally

9. Can I use the flight coupons of my ticket in any order?

No. Flight coupons may only be used in the order in which they were issued.

10. Can I have my ticket refunded if I purchased it online?

Generally, tickets may be refunded in the original form of payment, subject to fare rules.

  • Tickets with unrestricted fares may be refunded at a small fee.
  • Tickets with restricted fares may have a non refundable status, or contain restrictions that require fees and/or penalties to be deducted in order to change or refund the original ticket. However, in most cases the value of the ticket may be used towards the purchase of another, higher fare ticket, for the same traveler.

If you have purchased your ticket online, or from a Cyprus Airways sales office, please apply to any Cyprus Airways sales office. For tickets purchased directly from Cyprus Airways, refunds are issued within 7 business days for credit card purchases and within 20 business days for cash or cheque purchases

If you have purchased your ticket from a travel agent, please apply to the Travel Agent.

11. The price of the fare I have purchased has increased - do I have to pay the difference?

After payment for the ticket has been made, no fare increase applies for the date, flight and class of service booked. However any change in taxes, fees, and charges is subject to additional payment or refund.

12. Why can the availability of lowest fare tickets for a particular flight change from one day to the next?

All the special fares are available long before departure. As the bookings come rolling in, the number of seats reserved for special fares decreases. This is why the availability of lowest-fare tickets for a particular flight can virtually decrease by the day.

13. How often do the fares change?

Cyprus Airways' Booking Engine is connected to a real-time reservation database, listing actual ticket prices and availability at the time of your search. As tickets in the various classes are sold world wide, the database immediately reflects those changes, therefore always double-check prices when purchasing tickets, as the fare may have changed since your first fare search.

14. What do you mean by "The fares are not guaranteed until ticketed"?

This means that as long as there is a sufficient amount in the credit card to cover the cost of ticket purchased, the fare is always guaranteed and will be ticketed.

However, in case that credit card payment is declined, such a guarantee may be not provided.
