• The Sunmiles Frequent Flyer Programme is the reward scheme of Cyprus Airways for its loyal passengers over the age of 12 *. Members travelling on Cyprus Airways flights and aircraft, accumulate points which can be exchanged for flight awarded tickets in the Apollo Business class or in the Aphrodite Economy class and for upgrading to Business class. Enrolment is free of charge.

              *Note: Use of online Sunmiles services is allowed only for customers over 18 years old

• The Sunmiles card must be used by the reffered passenger

• Points credit begins on enrolment provided that you declare your member number at the time of reservation. Retroactive credit for previous trips is not given

• Points are not credited for flight awarded tickets in classes W,Z, Higher Redemption classes , V and E class tickets ,on code share flights i.e.  KL/AZ/GF/SU/RB/RO/EY/SV/SN and on Chartered flights .

• Points accumulated during one calendar year(January - December) have a two year validity from the date of travel.Points expire 4 times a year every end of March , end of June , end of September and end of December.The redemption of points should be done at least 15 days prior to the expiry date.

• Points remain active for two full years from the date of trip and must be redeemed for flight awarded tickets before the expiry date which is printed on the statement

• In case that your card is lost then you will be subject to a deduction of 5000 points for card replacement

• Retain your ticket stubs and boarding passes until your trip appears on your statement.Existing members must check their activity and in the case of missing trips they must submit above documents for retroactive points credit at least six months from the date of travel.

• Non-expiring Sunmiles points , for as long as you have the Sunmiles American Express.

• Non-expiring Sunmiles points, for as long as you are a member of the Sunjet Executive Club of Cyprus Airways.

• Cards are sent to the members provided that they have accumulated points from one Business trip or from four Economy trips.

• Taxes ,fees ,charges and surcharges must be paid always upon issuance of a flight awarded tickets from Cyprus Airways

• Use of points to upgrade to business class is allowed only on eligible economy class tickets. Points credited are based on the economy class fare paid.

•  Points earned from Sunmiles American Express i.e “Other points” or “ Ticket points” do not qualify for change in card category.

• ·Points earned from any bonus activity or partnership do not qualify for change in card category

• Special offers for the Sunmiles programme are  subject to other rules and regulations.

• Any case of fraud or embezzlement in connection with SunMiles points or awards will be subject to judicial procedures. Cyprus Airways reserve the right to invalidate all tickets issued from an account and/or all earned points. The airline may also declare a member’s account invalid
